Hitomezashi Sashiko & Boro Class

9am start - prompt – 4pm approx. finish.

   Maximum of 8 students.

Students will learn how to stitch Hitomezashi Sashiko (1 Stitch Sashiko) & Boro Stitching techniques.  Your finished squares can be used for a table runner / placemats / wall hanging / cushion covers / tote bags etc.  You will be given a brief history of Sashiko & Boro & how to deal with full skeins of thread.  All Sashiko threads – including some hand dyed, needles, fabrics for the Boro stitched squares plus navy dot grid fabric for the Sashiko stitching are included in your kit.  Final finishing off will have to be completed at home due to time constraints.

Cost $93.00 per person including the kit.
