As well as our ‘Drop In Sessions’ we endeavour to run interesting classes throughout the year.

Terms & Conditions for Classes & ‘Drop In Sessions’.  Please read – especially if you are booking a class online.

‘Drop In Sessions’ are informal & no booking is required.  Held Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am – 12pm & 1pm – 3pm.  Come along for some company with like-minded people – bring your knitting, sewing, embroidery, or just come for a cuppa & a chat with like-minded people.  We are happy to help you if needed with your projects but still need to serve customers if required. 

We make a charge of $20 per session & tea & coffee is available, occasionally - even biscuits…

Terms & Conditions for Classes

Your place in a class is not reserved until you have paid either the deposit (which varies from class to class) or in full.  Both can be done either in person or through the website.  Please turn up on time for your class…arriving after the class has started is inconveniencing your other students & the tutor.

If you ‘forget’ to come to the class – we do not do refunds! 

Cancellations will incur a 15% fee to cover card fees & staff time.

Within 7 days of the class – there will be no refunds for no shows or cancellations.

Kits for classes have to be prepared in advance of the class.  If you have paid in full for the class but do not turn up – you are entitled to your kit but not further instruction.

We are not able to offer you rescheduling of a class – as most of our classes are one offs & may never be repeated.

IMPORTANT!!  If a sewing machine is required for your class – make sure it is in good working order please, before you attend the class!  Tutors are under no obligation to troubleshoot your sewing machine problems!  It also holds up the class for those who have made sure their machine is working and it is not fair on your fellow students.

We do have a sewing machine available for you to borrow – but this MUST be booked in advance please.  There is no charge for this service.

Bring your own scissors / pins / needles / thread & glasses if you need them, plus any other requirements that are listed for the class.
