Using a variety of fabrics (they will vary from kit to kit!)  Students will learn the Sashiko & Boro Stitching Techniques to make the purse, with zip (already inserted), & the traditional ‘Flower’ decoration for the zip pull.  Lining fabric also supplied in kit.

Students will be given a brief history of Sashiko & Boro Stitching, before learning how to deal with the skeins of Sashiko Threads.   Final finishing off will need to be completed at home due to time constraints.
Bring a basic sewing kit with you (needles / pins / scissors / thread for tacking).

Deposit is non-refundable if you cancel and we are unable to fill your place, but refundable in full if we have to cancel for any unexpected reason.
