Students will be given a brief history of Sashiko & Boro Stitching, before learning how to deal with the skeins of Sashiko Threads (especially useful for the 100mt skeins!) How to stitch the panels economically, so as not to waste too much thread, plus lots of other tips and tricks to stitch your Hana Fukin and what to turn it into afterwards. Plus an overview of Hitomezashi stitching. Bring a basic sewing kit with you. Cost $45 per person inclusive. Phone bookings can be made - 03 544 7832, a $10 deposit is required to secure your place.
