New Class Dates

Table Runner / Wall Hanging
Sashiko & Boro Class Saturday 5th November

This project could also be divided into 3 -
for cushion fronts / tote bags / table mats etc

 Full kit includes - Fabrics / Sashiko Needles /
Sashiko Threads / 2 Stencils /
Wash Away Marker Pen / Carbon Paper
Students will learn how to stitch the traditional
Sashiko Shippo design on pre printed fabric
& how to transfer designs
using stencils & carbon paper,
plus the Boro stitching technique.

Cost $75.50 per person inclusive.

Scrappy Applique Quilt Class
Saturday 12th November

A new approach to applique!

 
Students will learn a new way of applique to create a
stunning mini quilt. 

Use geometric shapes & raw edge applique to
compose 1 of 3 unique designs. 
Choose from Rose,
Kingfisher or Vintage Car. 
Samples will be in the shop for you to choose your kit in advance
Mini quilt size 50 x 55cm approx.  

Cost $79.50 per person inclusive.

Beginners Embroidery Class
Saturday 26th November

Students will learn a variety of basic embroidery stitches
on a sample piece, then start stitching on a
pre printed piece of fabric to further embellish the fabric with colour. 
The finished embroidery could be mounted permanently
in the hoop, on a canvas block, as the front of a cushion..
even as an accent piece on a garment.

 
Cost $60 per person inclusive.
Deposit of $25 to secure your place

My latest quilted creation - 'Willow Lake'
 we have 2 Pattern Packs for this quilt,
by the 'Material Girlfriends' in the shop.  

Finally, I have had a chance to dye a load of
recycled blanket squares ...the first batches...more to come
