July Newsletter 2021

Hello All

The winner of the Gift Basket Lucky Ticket draw was Bex.
A BIG THANKYOU to all of you for your support.

Opal Yarns are back in stock again!
Be quick because they seem to sell out very quickly...and of course the international supply chain is somewhat disrupted these days.

Please Note

The times for the Informal Quilting Sessions are
Mondays & Thursdays - 10am - 12pm & 1pm - 3pm
@ a charge of $20 for the session.
This is the opportunity for you to bring in any
Quilting projects you are having a few problems with
& need a bit of assistance with...
(or you just want some 'you time')
Our staff are available to help but will still have to
serve customers and deal with
any shop tasks that need doing.
Tea & Coffee are available.

again really easy - but so effective!

Kit included in the cost of the workshop – $49
2 different projects will be stitched in this class –
kit includes - Pack of 2 Sashiko Needles,
Dot Grid Fabric & all the threads needed
to complete the patterns.
Students will be given a brief history of Sashiko & Boro Stitching,
before learning how to deal with the skeins of
Sashiko Threads (especially useful for the 100mt skeins!)
How to stitch Sashiko economically, so as not to waste
too much thread, plus lots of other tips & tricks
to stitch your work and what to turn it into afterwards.
